Traveler Etiquette

  • Maintain good hygiene. All passengers must be clean and presentable. Wear clean clothing, sleeved shirts, and appropriate footwear. Passengers with strong odors will not be allowed to board. Use deodorant, especially in the summer. Keep your feet on the floor, your legs within your space, and your shoes on.
  • Avoid noise. Speak quietly, both with other passengers and on the phone. Loud conversations are not allowed.
  • No eating or drinking onboard. Meals should be saved for after the trip to keep the vehicle clean.
  • Cover sneezes and coughs. Use your elbow, not your hands, and turn your head away from others.
  • Use headphones responsibly. Keep the volume low so it is not audible to others.
  • Accessible seating. Reserved for seniors, pregnant women, persons with disabilities, or those with small children. Seat assignment is at staff discretion.
  • Report incidents. If you see anything inappropriate or unsafe, notify the driver or staff. Avoid direct confrontation.
  • Respect the driver and staff. Do not distract the driver or interfere with vehicle operation. Being kind and thankful is important.
  • Be punctual. Arrive at least 1 hour before departure. Baggage check-in closes 30 minutes before. Late arrivals will not be admitted.
  • Take your trash with you. Do not leave waste behind. Use the proper trash bins.
  • No vandalism. Do not damage property. This includes scratching windows, damaging seats, writing graffiti, or peeling off labels.
